About The Rage

The Rage Magazine is an independent student fashion and arts publication at Western Washington University, established in 2023. Built by and for emerging creatives, The Rage Magazine brings together imaginative, highly motivated artists across disciplines to create unique and diverse projects. Through our pages, we create a space for emerging artists to explore the issues, identities, and experiences that are often overlooked in traditional media, transforming individual perspectives into a collective body of work that reflects the creativity and complexity of our community.

In doing so, The Rage Magazine has become more than a publication; it has become a contributor to the ever-evolving culture of Western Washington University.

At its core, The Rage Magazine is about self-growth, creative expression, and the power of perspective. Our members develop their craft while building the confidence, leadership, professional skills, and connections needed to navigate the creative industries. Through our publications, productions, events, collaborations, and community outreach, we encourage our members to take creative risks, support one another, and leave their mark beyond the pages of the magazine.

The Rage Magazine cultivates a space to pursue more unapologetically: to find your voice, challenge what has been accepted, and create something that did not exist before you. We do not create simply to be seen. We create to leave something behind for others.
